Ugh week

This has been one of those UGH weeks, with this cold. Trying to get motivated in doing more sewing, but my brain has been on a week long fuzz.

Mending

Once the word got out, mending jobs have been trickling in. In the last two weeks I have hemmed 4 pairs of pants, put in 1 new zipper.
Ready to fix is 2 quilts, 1 zipper, enlarge 2 pairs of pants, and to make are 2 baby blankets with pre-quilted fabric.

It is good to be able to get back into sewing. I quit about 5 years ago, when I lost my Mom to breast cancer and my Husband of 30 years to heart disease. My daughter was also going thru cancer. The depression set in and didn't want to leave.

A New Beginning

I have reached a point in my life, that moving on is the best option. It has taken me a while to get here. Eventually I will post about my life and how I got to where I am today.

The purpose of me blogging is going to be my life, things I do, my feelings, The ups and downs of my life.
